I was recently perusing the shelves of the library and came across a new book that I hadn't read. I brought it home with me. After just reading the first two pages I knew this book would be a life changers. It took me so long to read this book because I kept stopping to nod and say, YES!!, SO TRUE!!!, THAT'S EXACTLY HOW I FEEL! It is a book that explains everything about my job as an early childhood teacher, struggling to get the world to understand that my job is important and more valuable to a child than any other gift a parent could give them.
This books is not just for educators, it is for parents too. I have started to recommend it to everyone. I took the book to work and shared it with Mrs. Jeena and Mrs. Layne. Jeena perused the book, then I looked over at her and she was nodding and saying YES! EXACTLY!!, then she looked up at me and said this book is amazing! She picked up her phone, got on amazon and bought one for herself and a copy for me too. We both felt that this book needed to be a staple on our personal book shelves.

The flow of the book makes it an easy read. The book is small, but FULL of information. We found the book on sale on Amazon for $5. It won't cost you much but will reawaken your love for children and the field of Early Childhood Education.
